Peter Kimpton is the Song Bar Landlord. Every week he writes an introduction to the new topic and on one occasion he also took up the guru's mantle for the topic of Funk. Prior to starting the Song Bar, Peter was the host for the RR feature at the Guardian. He still freelances there. While at the Guardian he also wrote a half dozen columns under his real name.
